  • What is a Transparent LED Screen?
    A transparent LED screen is a type of LED display screen that is crystal clear like glass and has the functions of an LED. It enables the viewers to see whatever is shown on the glass along with providing complete coverage of its background as well. Since it enables the audience to see what is happening behind the screen, it is also referred to as a see-through screen.
  • The advantages and outstanding features of the Transparent LED screen?
    (1) High transparency guarantees the lighting requirements and wide viewing angel fields among the light-gathering structures, such as floors 、glass facades, and windows. Thus it maintains the original light-gathering and transparency of the glass wall. (2) Space-free. The motherboard thickness is only 7mm, and the weight of the screen is 7.9Kg/㎡, the architectural structure can install close to the glass wall so that it doesn’t take up space (3) Don’t need the steel-frame structure which can save investment for installation and maintenance. (4) Unique viewing effect. Since the background is transparent, the picture just likes floating on the glass wall, so it has a very good performance for advertisement and artistic effect.
  • What are the main technologies of Transparent screens?
    The key technology of LED transparent screen is mainly divided into two categories: 1. Side-emitting LED: It is a solution adopted by some professional transparent screen manufacturers to adopt Side-emitting LED lamp beads specially tailored for LED transparent screen. It is characterized by high permeability, less structural span and good aesthetics, and is conducive to large-scale standardized production of LED screen factory. 2. Front-emitting LED: Most transparent screen manufacturers use the conventional package lamp beads in the market. The screen’s permeability is relatively low, the price is low, and the structural span is more, which affects the aesthetics.
  • Does the LED display consume a lot of power?
    Please be assured that the LED display does not consume much power. The power consumption of the LED display is related to multiple parameters, such as pixel-pitches, brightness, playback content, etc. Therefore, when the LED display is in production, we have already measured the maximum power and average power of the screen, The common algorithm in the industry is to divide the maximum power consumption by 3. Assuming a P3.91*7.8 transparent screen, the maximum power consumption is 720watts/sqm, then the normal use power consumption of this screen should be 240watts/sqm.
